Interview tips
- Be professional and positive. Impress your potential employer by talking to them about what's involved in the LSV Programme.
- Discuss your new employability skills. The programme you've been through is designed to develop some specific employability skills(external link). Can you think of some course tasks or stories you could tell that demonstrate how you've developed self-management, teamwork, a positive attitude, thinking skills, communication, willingness to learn or resilience?
- Detail your strengths. Did you learn something new about yourself, your strengths and weaknesses on your LSV Programme? Sell these stories, skills and strengths to your potential employer.
- Be inspirational. Talk to your potential employer about the NZDF core values(external link), that you've developed and discuss how you can bring these into the workplace.
